Skins

There are different skins that can be created with each theme. A skin is essentially a changing of the base colors and images used to set the look and feel of the theme. Yes, there is some additional supplemental customization that takes place when you set some of the colors in the theme options, but a lot of the backgrounds and images are still controlled by the image files and the CSS.

How is a "skin" created? Well, it really only involves changing the files in the images folder and some of the elements in the stylesheet. Usually the stylesheet that gets changed most often is the style1.css file because this is the file that controls the colors and fonts of the theme as was mentioned in the CSS section.

You could even create your own skin simply by replacing the images in the images folder and some of the paths and colors set in style1.css.

To install a skin, you just need to delete the images folder in the root directory of the theme, and the style1.css file and replace those with one of the sets in the skins directory (whichever one you want to install). Try playing around with some and see which ones you like. You could even create your own skin with a combination of editing the images in the images folder and then changing some settings in the style1.css file or in the theme options (specifically the Fonts & Colors Theme Options).
